Hospital waiting room essays

If this happened last Thursday, I had the same experience at Leesburg hospital. I spent 11 hours waiting in the emergency room for a bed to be admitted for observation. We were told by hospital staff that both the Villages Hospital and Leesburg Hospital were closed to non-emergency ambulance cases. Walk ins were being told there was an 11 hour wait to be seen. You were on your own to try and find Food or drink (other than water fountain). If you had no one with you to go to the cafeteria for you, you were out of luck.
The problem was, there were no available hospital beds for admissions. When I finally went upstairs, there was still 5 other people waiting for beds to open up. This was at 9PM, so how many discharges would there be that night. It felt like third world medical care.
